Twilight - The Movie, The Obsession... A Review

So, since I read the books I found myself completely obsessed, it has been something utterly dramatic... I read all the good, long fanfics that come my way, I did more than 9 hours in line to meet Taylor (Jacob) and Edi (Laurent) @ Hot Topic, I bought my movie tickets a month before, and went dressed w/a twilight t-shirt, I listen to the soundtrack a lot, I'm reading the books again, I squealed like a fifteen year old fangirl in the events, I'm obsessed with robert pattinson, I jumped up and down when they greenlighted new moon, and I want to see the movie again.

That sums it up, now for my movie review: I loved it, of course it was not perfect, but I have yet to see a film from a book that's perfect, specially one that only had a very limited budget ($37M) compared to a Harry Potter movie ($150) and even then HP movies are not perfect but just better (better effects, better music etc). The movie should have been at least 30 min more to include more scenes of the Cullens and Edward and Bella before they were a "thing"

• I loved Robert Pattinson as Edward, there were a couple scenes when I though his face was hilarious (e.g. when Bella comes in the first time in biology and when he's sucking out the venom).

• Kristen was good, besides the excessive blinking I though she was a good Bella, her chemistry with Robert was excellent, and every-time she slipped it made it more real (lol)

• The Cullens were awesome, especially Alice ( I want her to be my best friend) and Emment (I want him to be my teddy bear)

Scenes I loved:
• Kissing scene in her room: OME! it was awesome you could feel the tension and Edward's fear I almost fell off my chair
• B&E getting to school in the Volvo with the sunglasses: BEST scene overall, everyone squealed (myself included), Robert Pattinson looked HOT!
• Vampire Baseball: BEST Action scene. It sounds cool and in the movie it is the coolest scene, it was just very well done and it looked more real than the "running" through the woods
• Rosalie breaking dishes: Hell yeah (I'm not pro-Rosalie but it was awesome)
• Anything with Alice!!!
• Get in the car! - OME! Sexy Vampire tells me to get in the car to rescue me, I obey :P
• Adrenaline rush, Google it - nuff said :D
• Anything with the crooked smiled *faints*

Scenes I missed:
• Blood typing
• Edward vs. Mike
• Tyler the day of the prom = Tyler vs. Edward
• Diz iz wrooooong edward, shiz nah wun of uzzzz (I know is not typical Emment, and not in the books but I loved it on the trailers, plus I was waiting to say it with my sister during the movie)
• Bella Cooking
• Some Midnight Sun (like what Edward listens to in other ppls minds)
• Girl's Spring Dance... this was the whole reason he stopped in front of her in the parking spot and all that

Scenes I hated:
• Diner scenes: WTH Bella cooks!, although I liked the goofy guys outside, I paid more attention to that than the dialogue.
• Tyler kissing Bella and taking Mike's chair... WTF now "dis iz wrooooooong"
• Bella getting a book from the Quileultes WHAT??? this never happens she goes to the internet and that's the end of it
• Edward sleeping in a weird pose in the hospital room after the attack *meh*

I could not listen to a third of the movie because of the screaming (stupid fangirls :p) but I had a great time, I gasped, I laughed and I was surprised. I give Twilight 4.5 out of 5 and I have to go see it again.

P.S. I know this looks like it's written by a fifteen year old fangirl, but that's how this book makes me feel so get over it. I'm a 23 year old that loves Twilight and everything to do with it, and is not afraid to let it be known. =D
